Welcome to the Ninjas The Windsor Ninjas are an elite group of rugby players, bringing together years of rugby knowledge and experience ....... basically we've all been playing for years, most of us having retired from Saturday appearances, and are desperate to relive our youth! The Ninjas were formed by a group of 10 mini / junior coaches with a yearning to play some more rugby and an interest in the emerging popularity of touch rugby. That was in 2003, we now have 35 players on the distribution list and haven't missed a single (Christmas aside) Wednesday evening session since we began. We play touch rugby at Home Park every Wednesday evening from 7:30pm for an hour or so, and then mysteriously seem to find ourselves at a bar for some post-exercise refreshment. If you are a current or former coach or parent of a Windsor mini / junior player and want to play some informal social touch rugby, you could be a Ninja. Bouncing News
Once again Ninja Hero Tim Lee scoops the front page here at the Ninja website Newsroom as we announce the fantastic news that he and his much admired wife Toni are now parents to Zoe (weighing in at an almost perfect birth weight of 7.5lbs). Tim, who left these shores some time ago, has been tireless in his efforts to spread the Windsor Ninja philosophy in the Australian outback and now has Zoe to help him. If she can combine her mothers sidestep and change of pace (usually employed in getting to the bar in a crowded pub) with Dad's direct style of play and bullet pass she will be a rugby-ing asset indeed and the Ninjas look forward to seeing her on these shores in around 16 years or so for a game. In the meantime CONGRATULATIONS to you both - she is beautiful.
